This was done by first applying a layer of gesso using a big coarse brush on an illustration board for the texture or the "flow" of the piece, and then painting on top of that using acrylics. By using both cool and warm colours, I hope to make the viewer feel the breeze of the moment and also the warmth emitting from the figure. |
