I've always thought of Gackt as this really fake person with thick cakey make-up... until I read his Jihaku (Confessions). You can find the translated version here somewhere on the internet.(i must stress that this is not the replacement of the actual book)
His life story is fascinating... and listening to his music (especially the piano/drums duet with Kami and also "Lapis"), inspired me in my music, and being the perfectionist he is, thinking about how one can have so much drive to master so many skills, helps push me to get that lazy butt of mine moving. XD
I don't think he'll ever read this, but thank you, Gackt. This piece wouldn't be possible if it weren't for you. In more ways than one. *much love*
