The Digital Photo Award of the Wacom Smiles Photo Contest
When the Wacom Community held our Photo Smiles contest 3 years ago, we received photos of beaming babies, grinning grandmothers, chortling children, amused adults and even cackling cats. We really enjoyed seeing everyone's beautiful smiles and those images warmed up the whole Community.
For you shutterbugs out there, we have a new contest just for you. It doesn't matter if you are a pro or an absolute beginner, this contest is open to everyone. The theme of this contest is "Kids and Animals" and there are two categories

Digital Photo Competition:
Simply take a photo or either children, animals, or both, then submit it to our contest. Some post-production such as lighting adjustment is allowed, but please try to maintain the original photograph as much as possible. Please remember to reduce the resolution to 72dpi before you submit your entry.
Photo Collage Competition:
Make a photo collage featuring children, animals, or both in a scrapbook style. For this category, please feel free to include text or handwritten messages as well as other scrapbook elements. Please remember to reduce the resolution of your final image to 72dpi before you submit your entry.
| Please respect copyrights. You may use "copyright free" images in your collages, but please do not download and use photos and images from websites without the owner's permission. Also, please note that there is a limit of one entry per person. |
In addition to the two main prizes, we will provide a Bamboo Pen and Touch for a lucky draw winner. So, everyone has a chance to win. We will look forward to receiving your entries. *Note: All winners will be eligible for inclusion in Wacom advertising with artist credit, upon confirmation of hi-resolution photo.

Rules: All submissions must abide by the contest and submission rules of the Wacom Community. In particular, submissions may not contain any nudity, adult situations, violence or other obscenities, and must be original. Submissions of fan art or other copyrighted images or characters will not be considered. Wacom reserves the right to reject, remove, and/or disqualify entries at its discretion.
Eligibility: All residents of Asia Pacific countries (does not include China, Hong Kong or Japan). Limited to one entry per person. No entry fee necessary.
Submission Deadline: May 31, 2010 (Contest officially ends at midnight, Tokyo time. Please be aware of time differences when submitting.)

Contest Rules
