Wacom Co., Ltd. is 25 years old this year! To commemorate the occasion and thank all of our loyal customers, the Wacom Asia Pacific Community is holding a postcard design contest with the theme: "Thank You". The Grand Prize winner of the contest will receive a brand new Cintiq 12WX, an innovative new interactive pen display for graphics professionals. In addition, winning artwork or artworks will be published by Wacom on postcards that will be included with thousands of Wacom tablets!

Regarding publication of postcard design:
Beginning with the Grand Prize winning artwork, one or more of the winning artworks will be published by Wacom with the Wacom logo imprinted on the artwork along with the winner's pen name or real name and artwork title. Winners whose artwork is published will receive 100 postcards for their personal use. Copyright of the winning artworks shall remain the property of the winners. However, by accepting the prize, winners consent to and grant Wacom the right to use the winning artwork in perpetuity for marketing and other promotional activities as stated in article 11 of the contest rules. |
Rules: All submissions must abide by the contest and submission rules of the Wacom Community. In particular, submissions may not contain any nudity, adult situations, violence or other obscenities, and must be original. Submissions of fan art or other copyrighted images or characters will not be considered. Wacom reserves the right to reject, remove, and/or disqualify entries at its discretion.
Eligibility: Cintiq 12WX, Intuos3 6x8, and Bamboo Fun prizes can only be awarded to residents of Wacom Asia Pacific countries (excluding Japan, China and Hong Kong). In the event that a resident of a non-Asia Pacific country is a prize winner, the above Wacom prizes may be forfeited. Limited to one entry per person. (A recent system glitch occasionally allows two or more entries. In such case, please access My Studio to delete extra entries. Otherwise, only the first entry will be considered.)
Submission Deadline: 21 Dec, 2007 (ends 11:59 pm, Tokyo time). Please be aware of time differences when submitting.

Entries should be created at 350 dpi with dimensions of 2048 x 2048 pixels (or approximately 148 x 148 mm). |

For judging, entries should be reduced to 72 dpi and less than 1MB, and submitted through the contest submission form. JPG, PNG files accepted. |

Contest Rules
By submitting to this contest, participants have acknowledged that they have read and will abide by the rules of Wacom Community Contests. In particular, participants warrant and represent that their work does not infringe or violate any third party rights nor contain nudity or other inappropriate material, and that by submitting, they have granted Wacom the right to utilize submitted entries for promotional, marketing or any other activity that does not involve the direct sale of the artwork.
