• The Pen Technology, a natural experience - 512 levels of pressure sensitivity and based on over 25 years of experience in building digital pens that feel like the real thing, Wacom's patented electro-magnetic resonance pen technology provides the world's most sophisticated pen input experience. Even first time users will be surprised at how similar writing on-screen is to writing on paper.
• Compatible with Tablet PCs - Many of the tablet PCs currently offered on the market are built with Wacom's Penabled component technology. The DTI-520's pen technology is compatible with any of these devices.
• The Display - the DTI-520's 15-inch active matrix LCD display provides easy-to-see brightness with rich colors and wide 140-degree horizontal, 125- degree vertical viewing angles for collaboration between two or more people.
• Security - Each pen has a unique ID that the tablet can recognize allowing system integrators to provide user authentication and other security solutions. (The pen ID is application specific. If you are a system developer, please contact Wacom for the application programming interface (API).)
• Connectivity - Analog RGB video-in, composite video-in; USB data connection, RS-232 serial data connection (Note: Connectivity differs from the DTI-520UB model).

• The adjustable stand allows you to tilt the screen between 18 and 74-degrees from the vertical. The stand can also be removed to mount the unit on any VESA standard LCD mount arm.

• RS-232 serial connection - For connecting to systems using serial cables to link devices.
• Customizable pen buttons - CTRL, SHIFT, ALT, right-click, double-click, your choice of keyboard shortcuts like CTRL-V for paste, and even longer keyboard stroke patterns can all be programmed easily into the pen buttons via the tablet control panel.
