A better way to use computers
As more and more daily tasks become computerized, staff will spend more time using a mouse increasing the risk of repetitive stress injuries (RSI). Wacom pen tablets and displays offer a better way to use a computer by allowing your hand to remain in its natural position while navigating instead of twsiting it as you do when using a mouse. Read more about how Wacom products can help alleviate RSI pain.
Furthermore, the DTU-1931A and other pen displays allow you to access menus directly on-screen, and with accuracy as you work directly on screen with the pen. The faster workflow is one reason why hospitals, clinics and pharmacies choose to install pen displays.
The DTU-1931A, as the premium pen display in our line-up, also comes with radial menus and sub-menus that put frequently used shortcuts at your pen tip for unparalleled efficiency. These menus are customisable via the tablet driver.

Why choose non-graphics pen displays? Pen displays built for artists (Cintiq / DTZ series) are built with frames designed to by artists as canvases. The rotational ability may hinder standard PC operation for the non-artist, and their larger footprints result in less available deskspace. They do, however, offer more customisable buttons on the frame itself in addition to a Touch Strip used by artists for quick zooming and scrolling. If your business or institution is interested in one of these displays, please see our 12-inch DTZ-1200W or our 21.3-inch DTZ-2100D.
Wacom's largest non-graphics pen display at 19-inches, the DTU-1931A also offers advanced features such as automatic scaling for widescreen notebooks, digital video connectivity and incredible viewing angles.
