What kinds of software support 2048 levels pressure sensitivity?
All Mac graphic applications that support pressure support Intuos4's enhanced 2048 levels of sensitivity. Major graphics applications from partners such as Adobe, Corel and Autodesk support 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity on Windows. Please contact us if you have a question about a specific application.
On the Wacom U.S. website, their Intuos4 tablets come with a mouse and different software. Why are the products different in Asia Pacific?
The Intuos4 package in Asia Pacific was developed based on the needs and requirements of our customers. The software bundled with Intuos4 in Asia Pacific represents both great value and utility. Most of our customers do not require a mouse, therefore we do not bundle one and can pass on the cost savings to our customers.

What is on the CDs and DVDs that come with Intuos4 (Asia Pacific product version)?
One CD contains the Intuos4 driver and User's Manual. The DVD contains Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 (Mac)/7 (Win), Corel Painter Sketch Pad, Autodesk Sketchbook Express, Nik Color Efex Pro sample filters, and Wacom Brushes. More information about these applications can be found here.
What is the warranty period for Intuos4?
All Intuos4 models carry a 1-year limited warranty from the time of purchase in the country of purchase. See our warranty page for more details.
How much power does the Intuos4 require from the USB port?

What driver do I need for Intuos4 and where can I download it?
Please visit our driver download page to download the latest driver for Intuos4. Please note that the default orientation (either right or left-handed) can only be set by installing from the driver CD.
Are there any other colors available?
We could not top the beautiful black color, so we did not try.
Can I use my Intuos4 pen with my Cintiq 21UX or Cintiq 12WX?
Intuos4 uses new pen sensor technology and therefore the pen is incompatible with the Cintiq 21UX and the Cintiq 12WX.
I do not have a wide format LCD, Can I use Intuos4?
Yes, Intuos4 works well with most all monitors. The mapping of the tablet's active area to your monitor can be customized in the Intuos4 control panel. Information on how to adjust the mapping settings can be found in the Intuos4 User's Manual included in the driver installation CD.
Why should I upgrade from Intuos3 to Intuos4?
Intuos4 has significant improvements in feel, design, performance, control, and workflow compared to Intuos3. Intuos4 incorporates Wacom's new pen sensor technology, which precisely simulates the feel of your favourite writing instrument and is capable of operation with just 1 gram of starting pressure. The pen has 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity - double that of Intuos3. Artists have already said that they can draw better, more precise lines with Intuos4. The ExpressKey displays are another important new feature. These OLED indicators show the current ExpressKey settings and will automatically update for each application. And, the four mode Touch Ring allows for accurate and intuitive control of actions such as scrolling, zooming, changing brush size, rotating the canvas, flipping through layers, and more. What are the technical specifications of Intuos4 compared with Intuos3?

Can I use my Intuos3/Cintiq pens with my Intuos4?
Intuos4 uses new pen sensor technology and therefore Intuos3, Cintiq 21UX and Cintiq 12WX pens cannot be used with Intuos4 tablets.

To simplify our Intuos4 lineup and to make the purchase decision easier for our customers, we chosen the four most popular sizes, all in wide format. The new display toggle function eliminates the need for an ultra-wide tablet.
Intuos3 had an extra wide format 6x11 tablet. Why isn't there a wide tablet for Intuos4?
Intuos4 tablets were designed with active areas that are standard widescreen dimension (16:10)
