Wacom implemented the following changes and improvements:

Note: Due to a limitation of the compiler, Macs using the Motorola G3 chip are not supported by the latest drivers. If you have a G3 Mac, you must use driver version 5.1.1 or earlier. Products that require driver version 5.2.0 or later (e.g. Bamboo Pen & Touch, Touch or Pen models) are not supported on a G3 Mac.

Wacom implemented the following changes in v.5.2.4-4:

  • For recently manufactured Bamboo 2nd Generation tablets with touch input:
    • Installing this driver will add support for 3 and 4 finger gestures.
    • Wacom constantly improves its products. To use this feature you must have a Bamboo 2nd Generation tablet with touch input and a manufacturing model number ending in
      "/K(A)" or "/S(A)" (indicated right above the serial number barcode).
  • After installing the driver, open the Bamboo control panel and review the animation and
    options on the Touch-related tabs to understand or to enable/disable the new features.

Wacom implemented the following changes and improvements in 5.2.4-3:

  • For all Bamboo 2nd Generation tablets with touch input:
    • Improved processing of touch gestures to make them smoother and more responsive
    • Touch gestures support for Google Earth
  • Improved preferences file handling and management.
  • A number of smaller bug fixes and improvements.
