Bamboo, Bamboo Fun and Intuos4 tablet warranty

Wacom Co., Ltd. warrants the product, to the original consumer purchaser, including the main unit and accessories such as the AC adapter and cables, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year, from the date of original retail purchase, as evidenced by a copy of the receipt (proof of purchase).

Upon discovery of a defect in the product, except in the software, within the warranty period, the warranty holder should contact the original place of purchase to obtain instructions for returning the product for repair or replacement. Wacom and its partners are not obligated to reimburse unauthorized prepaid shipment.

Cintiq and other pen display warranty

Wacom Co., Ltd. warrants the product, to the original consumer purchaser, including the main unit and accessories such as the AC adapter and cables, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year, from the date of original retail purchase, as evidenced by a copy of the receipt (proof of purchase) and registration with Wacom online within 30 days of purchase.

Upon discovery of a defect in the product, except in the software, within the warranty period, the warranty holder should contact the original place of purchase to obtain instructions for returning the product for repair or replacement. Wacom and its partners are not obligated to reimburse unauthorized prepaid shipment.

Premium Extended Warranty

Bundled software

Software is licensed "as is." Wacom makes no warranty with respects to its quality or performance. Wacom cannot guarantee you uninterrupted service or the correction of any errors.

 

Pen display pixel policy

Each interactive pen display LCD panel is produced under very stringent quality standards. Production techniques cannot guarantee an absolutely perfect TFT display. Wacom does not allow any pixel to be always white or always black. The Cintiq 21UX display contains 5.76 million sub-pixels (red, green, or blue dots), the Cintiq 12WX contains 3.07 million, the PL-720 3.93 million, and the DTI-520 2.36 million. A small number of sub-pixels (13 or fewer for Cintiq 21UX, 7 or fewer for Cintiq 12WX, 5 or fewer for PL-720, and 4 or fewer for DTI-520) can be partially on or partially off - this does not mean the display is defective. In a partially on sub-pixel, 50% or more of the sub-pixel is always lit. In a partially off sub-pixel, 50% or more of the sub-pixel is always dark.
